Awesome no-bake dessert with Golden Oreo cookie crust and homemade strawberry sauce.

Make sauce. Wash, stem and roughly chop strawberries. In a medium saucepan on medium low heat add the strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar. Once the strawberries start to heat up and release some of their juice, mash with a potato masher or use an immersion blender, blending until smooth. Remove from heat allowing to cool then refrigerate.




In a food processor add 25 Golden Oreo Cookies. Process the cookies until they turn into a fine grain. Next add in melted butter and pulse until combined.

Pour the cookie crumbs out into a 9-inch metal pie plate. Press the crumbs into the pie plate forming the crust. Freeze the crust for at least a couple of hours so that it become firm.

Next pour 1.5 quarts of strawberry Ice-cream into the prepared cookie crust and smooth. Allow the ice cream to set up in the freezer for a couple of hours or overnight.

Cut the strawberry Ice Cream Pie and drizzle with homemade strawberry sauce and top with whipped cream and toasted almonds. Enjoy!
