Thick & creamy curried clam chowder.

Prepare ingredients. Chop bacon, onion green bell pepper and celery. Mince garlic, peel and dice potatoes.

In a heavy soup hot, sauté bacon on medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add diced bell pepper, onions, garlic and celery. Sauté everything for about 10-12 minutes.



Next stir in flour and curry powder mixing until combined. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes then add in tomato paste stirring until everything is combined.

Next add in clam juice and fish stock stirring until combined. Add in potatoes, clams, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer, cover and simmer on low for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Cook the clam chowder until potatoes are tender.

Lastly, add in heavy cream just before serving, stirring until combined.

Serve and enjoy!
