Two awesome dishes jalapeño poppers and cheesy pasta combine for one great dish!

Equipment needed: glass baking dish 9x13 or large oven-safe skillet.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. You can use a 3-quart baking dish or a large oven-safe skillet for this recipe. Cook 4 cups of pasta of your choice, rotini and elbow pasta's work well for this dish.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small bowl, add Panko breadcrumbs and mix. Set aside.
Cook bacon in a large pan on medium heat turning occasionally until golden brown. Drain on paper towel, crumble and set aside. In the same pan used to cook bacon, add onion and jalapeños to the grease. Cook on medium until softened. 4-5 minutes.
Stir in flour to the onion jalapeño mixture, cook 1-2 minutes.
Whisk in milk, chicken broth, salt and pepper, stirring until sauce slightly thickens.
Next add in cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese stirring constantly until completely melted and combined.
Remove from heat and add in bacon.
Stir in cooked and drained pasta.
Spread mixture into baking pan.
Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and then sprinkle with the buttery Panko breadcrumbs. Bake for 20-30 minutes until top is golden brown.
Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
