Two awesome dishes jalapeño poppers and cheesy pasta combine for one great dish!
Ingredients
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 2 qt. baking pan with cooking spray.
Melt the 2 tbls butter in a small bowl then add Panko bread crumbs and mix. Set aside.
Cook bacon in a large pan on medium heat turning occasionally until golden brown. Drain on paper towel, crumble and set aside.
In the same pan used to cook bacon, add onion and jalapeños to the grease. Cook on medium until softened. 4-5 min.
Add flour to the onion jalapeño mixture, cook 1-2 minutes. Add in milk, chicken broth, salt, pepper, cream cheese, Jack cheese and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese stirring constantly until completely melted and combined. Remove from heat. Fold in bacon and cooked pasta. Spread mixture in baking pan.
Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and then sprinkle with the buttery Panko bread crumbs. Bake for 20-30 minutes until top is golden brown.
