Easy delicious turkey Thai lettuce wraps.
Ingredients
Directions
Wash and pat dry lettuce leaves. Romaine and iceberg lettuce will also work nicely if you can't find butter lettuce.
In a large skillet on medium heat, add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and ground turkey. Cook turkey for a few minutes.


Slice green onion white portions into 1/4-inch pieces and add to skillet. Cut dark green portions 1/2 inch on a slant and set aside for serving. Drain and roughly chop water chestnuts and add them to skillet and stir.



In a small bowl add 1/2 cup hoisin sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of ginger either paste or freshly grated, 2 teaspoons sriracha hot chili sauce and 1/3 cup Asian Toasted Sesame salad dressing. Whisk until combined.


Cook turkey until no longer pink then add sauce. Stir until combined. Remove from heat.
Plate your dish with a lettuce leaf and a spoonful of the Thai turkey mixture, a sprinkle of the coleslaw mix and dark green onions. Enjoy!
