Easy retro appetizer recipe with 5 ingredients. Fun to make! Tastes better than store bought!
Ingredients
Directions
In a food processor, add cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese, pulse the machine just until mixed. Add in softened butter and port wine, pulsing again just until mixed.
Refrigerate the cheese mixture for 30-40 minutes giving it time to firm up.
Chop pecans into small pieces.
Scoop the cheese out of the bowl and roll it in your hands until a ball forms. Then roll it in chopped pecans. I put the pecans in a medium sized bowl then roll the cheese around and sprinkle the pecans patting them in so they stay.
Serve with crackers or refrigerate until ready to serve. These are an easy make ahead appetizer. Enjoy!
