Perfect cold weather hot sandwich! Juicy pastrami, melted cheese, mustard and dill pickles!

Ingredients

    Directions

Growing up in Southern California my husband and I enjoyed a popular restaurant named "The Hat" that had incredible pastrami sandwiches. This sandwich brings back such fond memories.

    Step1

In a saucepan bring to a simmer 2 cups of beef broth. I use Better Than Bouillon. Cut the pastrami into slices.

    Step2

Add pastrami slices to the hot broth and simmer on low for a few minutes.

    Step3

While waiting on the pastrami, toast hoagie rolls. Add cheese if you wish and toast in the oven until cheese is melted. Add mustard and pickles.

    Step4

Allow pastrami to drain on a paper towel lined plate then pile your roast beef on the sandwich and slice in half.

    Step5

    Enjoy!
