Perfect Valentine’s Day Treat❤️! Strawberries, chocolate, & several kinds of toppings!
Ingredients
Directions
Line a baking sheet or countertop with parchment paper for the strawberries to set up and harden once dipped in chocolate. Prepare your toppings. Chop coconut and peanuts.
Melt chocolate in separate bowls. I used a bulk block of chocolate that I chopped and white chocolate melting wafers. You can use any kind of chocolate that you like, Nestle's or Giardelli are some good ones also and are easy to find. White chocolate can be difficult to melt, the melting wafers are easy to melt and also, I have had really good results with Nestle's premium white chocolate chips. I melt them in the microwave for a minute then stir and then about 30 seconds longer. If they harden up during the dipping process, put them back into the microwave and melt them again.
Dip strawberries into melted chocolate and allow excess chocolate to drip off the bottom of the berry back into the bowl.
Next while chocolate is still wet add toppings of choice.
Add stripes with a spoon drizzling back and forth.
To make the marble effect, finish ALL the other designs first, then drizzle some of the white chocolate into the brown chocolate. Swirl the strawberry around until you have the marbling design.
Allow strawberries to completely harden and set up in a cool place.
Enjoy!
