Festive moist sweet and tart cranberry orange bread. A holiday delight!

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9X5 inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and line with parchment paper. The cooking spray will help hold the parchment paper in place as well as keeping the bread from sticking.
In a large bowl, beat with a handheld electric mixer 1/2 cup butter and 2/3 cup sugar. Add in the 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of orange extract. Mix well then add in 1/2 cup of orange juice and 1/4 cup buttermilk. Mix and set aside. In another bowl whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredient's mixture and mix with the handheld electric mixer.
Gently fold in carberries.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once bread is baked allow it to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes then remove it to a cooling rack. Allow to completely cool before applying glaze.
While bread cools make glaze. In a small bowl add 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar, 1 teaspoon of orange extract and 1 teaspoon of milk. If glaze is too thick add another teaspoon.
With a teaspoon gently drizzle glaze back and forth over the bread. Allow glaze to set for about 15 minutes.
