Easy Egg Nog Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Moist egg nog cake & egg nog cream cheese frosting with a sprinkle of nutmeg! So festive! My favorite cake ever!

    Directions

    Step1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add in room temperature butter.

    Step2

    Next add in the eggs, mixing until combined.

    Step3

    Combine egg nog and vanilla extract. Add egg nog mixture to the flour mixture.

    Step4

    Pour mixture into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.

    Step5

    While cake cools make frosting. In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, egg nog, and confectioners' sugar. Mix with an electric handheld mixer until smooth and creamy.

    Step6

    Frost the cake, cut and serve.

    Step7

    Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg. Enjoy!
