Grandmas Old Fashioned Mayonnaise Chocolate Cake

    Equipment: one 9 1/2 inch fluted cake pan

    Step1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray fluted cake pan with cooking spray and set aside.

    Step2

    Mix together sugar, cocoa, all purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder.

    Step3

    Add water and mayonnaise, mix on low/medium speed until combined and smooth.

    Step4

    Pour mixture in prepared pan. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    Step5

    Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
