Delicious buttery mashed potatoes with sauteed cabbage & green onions.🍀

    Step1

    In a medium saucepan add water to boil potatoes. Peel the potatoes if you aren't using a ricer, the ricer peels and mashes the potato for you. Wash potatoes and place them in the water prior to the water boiling. If the water is boiling when you put the potatoes in, the outside will cook but the inside of the potato will still be hard. Once the potatoes are cooked mash them with a potato masher or put them through the ricer.

    Step2

    While potato's cook sauté or boil cabbage. I sauté mine in a tablespoon of olive oil. Thinly slice green onions. Once potatoes are mashed add butter, half and half, salt and pepper stirring until combined. Next add in the sauteed cabbage and green onions. Stir until combined.

    Step3

    Serve and enjoy!
