Deliciously over-the-top bacon-wrapped hot dog with TONS of toppings!

Growing up an hour from Los Angeles in Southern California, my husband and I had many hot dog cart street dogs. The ones from the Los Angeles Fashion District are the best and even written about. Bacon wrapped hot dog Los Angeles street food explained. We moved to Northern Idaho a few years ago and missed that wonderful L.A. hotdog cart experience, so I decided to recreate it in the forest where we live now, here it is. Enjoy!
Slice bell pepper, onion and jalapenos into slices, lengthwise.


Wrap the hot dogs in bacon slices and secure them using a toothpick.



Preheat a flat griddle or very large frying pan on medium high heat. Add the bacon wrapped hot dogs allowing for some grease to form, then add the sliced vegetables.
While hot dogs and vegetables cook, smash the avocados.


Once the hot dogs are cooked, remove the toothpicks and add them to buns.
Add smashed avocado to the hot dogs.
Next add onions, bell peppers and sliced jalapenos.
Give a squeeze back and forth with catsup, mustard and mayonnaise.
