Ingredients
Directions
Growing up an hour from Los Angeles in Southern California, my husband and I had many hotdog cart street dogs. The ones from the Los Angeles Fashion District are the best and even written about. Bacon wrapped hot dog Los Angeles street food explained. We moved to Northern Idaho a few years ago and missed that wonderful L.A. hotdog cart experience, so I decided to recreate it in the forest where we live now, here it is. Enjoy!

Slice bell pepper, onion and jalapenos into slices, lengthwise.

Wrap the hotdogs in bacon slices and secure them using a toothpick.

Preheat a flat griddle or very large frying pan on medium high heat. Add the bacon wrapped hotdogs allowing for some grease to form, then add the sliced vegetables.

While hotdogs and vegetables cook, smash the avocados.

Once the hotdogs are cooked, remove the toothpicks and add them to buns.

Add smashed avocado to the hotdogs.

Next add onions, bell peppers and sliced jalapenos.

Give a squeeze back and forth with catsup, mustard and mayonnaise.

Enjoy!!!😋🌭
