Mornay Sauce with White Wine

    Step1

    Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan. Whisk in 3 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of chicken bullion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg and a dash of pepper.

    Step2

    Add 1 cup of half and half. Cook quickly, stirring constantly till mixture thickens.

    Step3

    Stir in 1/4 cup dry white wine and 1/3 cup Swiss cheese. Stir till cheese melts and serve.
