Easy restaurant style salsa recipe.

Equipment needed: Blender

Preheat oven to broil. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place the jalapenos on the prepared baking sheet. Broil the jalapenos until blackened and charred. Broiling and charring the jalapenos gives the salsa flecks of color as well as a smoky flavor. Cut the stem ends off of the jalapenos.

Add ALL ingredients to the blender including whole blackened and stemmed jalapeños. Pulse the blender until desired consistency is reached.

Pour contents of blender into a large sauce pan over medium heat. Once salsa is hot reduce to a simmer on low for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Chill in the refrigerator and enjoy!
