Delicious moist & sweet squaw quick bread. No yeast or rise time required.

    Directions

    Step1

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9X5 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl combine, flour, baking soda and salt.

    Step2

    In a medium bowl combine milk and molasses stirring until completely combined.

    Step3

    Add together the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until combined.

    Step4

    Pour bread batter into the greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours rotating the loaf during the baking process so that it cooks evenly.

    Step5

    Allow bread to cool for 5 minutes then remove the loaf from the pan and cool on a baking rack. Serve warm or room temperature.

    Step6
