Delicious and refreshing Jalapeño Pico de Gallo. Jalapeno, with its earthy kick, is paired with crunchy onion, fresh cilantro, zesty lime, and citrusy-sweet tomatoes.
Ingredients
Directions
This Jalapeño Pico de Gallo is a perfect balance of heat, freshness, and zesty lime flavor. Cherry or grape tomatoes add a naturally sweet, citrusy base that stays chunky, while fresh jalapeños deliver a bold, vibrant kick in every bite. As it chills, the heat from the jalapeños deepens, blending beautifully with the lime juice, cilantro, and tomatoes to create a crisp, colorful, flavor‑packed salsa that’s ideal for tacos, bowls, chips, or meal prep.
Dice 2 cups of tomatoes. I like using these tomatoes because they have a naturally citrusy sweetness that pairs well with the earthy heat of the jalapenos. Next, dice 1 cup white onion, chop 1/2 cup of fresh cilantro, and stem, seed, and finely dice 3–4 jalapeños, adjusting the heat level to your taste.
Combine everything in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of lime juice, and season with salt to taste. Mix gently to keep the tomatoes chunky and let the Pico de Gallo sit for a few minutes so the flavors can meld.
Enjoy!
