Easy, delicious Alfredo sauce with broccoli and shrimp.
Ingredients
Directions
This Broccoli Shrimp Alfredo is rich and comforting, with succulent shrimp, crisp-tender broccoli, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce that clings perfectly to the pasta. The lemon and wine add brightness, keeping the dish satisfying.
Pat shrimp dry, salt and pepper both sides.
Start a large pot of salted water boiling for pasta. Once boiling, add pasta and cook for 6-7 minutes. Wash the head of broccoli. Cut the broccoli head into desired-sized florets. Add broccoli florets to the boiling water with the pasta. Boil for 3-5 minutes, until tender.
While pasta is boiling, sauté the shrimp. Add 3 tablespoons of butter to a large skillet on medium heat. Next, add 3 minced garlic cloves and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Add in the shrimp and cook for a couple of minutes on each side. Once the shrimp are pink, transfer them to a plate, leaving any liquid in the skillet.
Add white wine to the hot skillet cooking for a minute or two.
Whisk in 1 cup of cream and 1/2 cup of Parmesan—salt and pepper to taste. Cook for a couple more minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
Drain pasta and broccoli.

Add the pasta, broccoli, and shrimp to the sauce, and toss until everything is well coated.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and cracked pepper and serve with more Parmesan.
Enjoy!
