Easy, delicious Alfredo sauce with broccoli and shrimp.

Pat shrimp dry, salt and pepper both sides.

Start a large pot of salted water boiling for pasta. Once boiling add pasta cooking for 6-7 minutes. Wash head of broccoli. Cut the head of broccoli into desired size florets. Discard or mulch stalk. Add broccoli florets to the boiling water with the pasta. Boil until tender 3-5 minutes.

While pasta is boiling sauté the shrimp. Add 3 tablespoons of butter to a large skillet with high sides on medium heat. Next add in 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Add in shrimp cooking a couple minutes on each side. Once shrimp are pink, remove them from the skillet to a plate leaving any liquid in the skillet.

Add white wine to the hot skillet cooking for a minute or two.

Whisk in 1 cup of cream and 1/2 cup of parmesan. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook for a couple more minutes allowing for sauce to thicken.

Drain pasta and broccoli.


Add pasta, broccoli and shrimp to the sauce and toss everything together.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and cracked pepper.
