Delicious chicken dinner that is easy to make and is as delicious as it looks!
Ingredients
Directions
Chicken Milanese is an Italian classic that is essentially a breaded and pan-fried chicken cutlet similar to the schnitzel. Chicken breasts are pounded thin, dredged in flour, dipped in egg, and coated in seasoned breadcrumbs then fried until golden brown and crispy.

Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Slice the chicken lengthwise to make it thinner. Place a piece of plastic wrap over the chicken. Using a kitchen hammer pound out the chicken to 1/8-inch thickness.
In a medium bowl mix together 1 cup of flour and zest from 1 lemon, 2 teaspoons of salt and cracked pepper to taste.
In a separate medium bowl combine 1 cup of parmesan cheese, 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder and 2 teaspoons of minced parsley.
Set up dredging station. Lightly beat eggs and pour into a shallow bowl or plate. Add flour mixture to a shallow bowl of plate and breadcrumb mixture to a separate shallow bowl or plate. Preheat oil in a cast iron skillet to 350 degrees F.
Dredge chicken in flour shaking off excess. Then dip the chicken in the beaten eggs, then into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the crumbs gently into the chicken.
Carefully set the breaded chicken into hot oil. Fry the chicken for approximately 10 minutes each side.
Prepare salad while chicken is cooking.
Slice chicken if desired and plate with salad and your favorite dressing. Enjoy!
