Super easy, unforgettable recipe that’s absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
Directions
This buttery caramel sauce is rich, smooth, and ridiculously easy to make. Perfect for apple pie, ice cream — or honestly, any dessert that deserves a golden upgrade.
In a small saucepan, stir together 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/8 cup water, 2 tablespoons light corn syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon salt over medium heat.

Let it cook without stirring until the caramel turns golden amber brown, then take it off the heat.
Carefully and quickly stir in 2 tablespoons of butter until melted, then add 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, whisking until thoroughly combined.
Let the caramel cool slightly, then serve warm. The caramel will thicken and start to harden as it fully cools. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave when ready to enjoy.

This recipe is delicious on our Apple Pie 🍎. Enjoy!
