This Ken’s Steak House Copycat Asian Sesame Dressing delivers that signature sweet‑savory, nutty flavor you love from the original. It’s quick to whisk together, easy to customize, and perfect for salads, chicken, noodles, or dipping. Fresh, balanced, and way better than store‑bought.
In a small dry pan over medium‑low heat, lightly toast the sesame seeds for 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until they smell nutty and turn a light golden color. Transfer them to a plate to cool completely before adding them to the dressing.
In a small bowl or a half‑pint mason jar, add 3 tablespoons toasted sesame oil, 2 tablespoons avocado or vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons lite soy sauce, 2 tablespoons orange marmalade, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional), 1 tablespoon grated ginger or ginger paste puree, 1 minced small garlic clove, 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional), the juice of 1/2 lime, a pinch of white pepper, and a pinch of salt. Stir well or secure the lid and shake until fully combined and emulsified.
Store in an airtight container, such as a mason jar, and refrigerate for up to 1-2 weeks.
Enjoy!
