Delicious creamy Caesar salad dressing that comes together in minutes with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
Directions
This Caesar Dip and Salad Dressing is straightforward, fast, and packed with bold flavor from Dijon, Parmesan, lemon juice, garlic, vinegar, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce. Made with simple pantry ingredients, it’s perfect for dipping, drizzling, or tossing into a crisp salad. Fun fact: Caesar dressing wasn’t invented in Rome at all. It was created in 1924 by Italian‑born restaurateur Caesar (Cesare) Cardini in Tijuana, Mexico, during a hectic Fourth of July rush when his kitchen was running low on ingredients. His improvised mix became an instant classic.
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons granulated sugar, 1 grated garlic clove, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Add 1–2 tablespoons of cold water to thin the dressing if desired.
Enjoy!
