A no‑bake mud pie with an Oreo cookie crust filled with coffee ice cream and topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, and toasted almonds.

Ingredients

    Directions

This mud pie is a chocolate and coffee lover’s dream. A crunchy Oreo crust holds a thick layer of smooth coffee ice cream, all topped with warm hot fudge, toasted slivered almonds, and a swirl of whipped cream. It’s simple, nostalgic, and totally Chart House style. No baking required!

    Step1

In a food processor, pulse 25 Oreo cookies until finely crushed.

    Step2

Add 4 tablespoons of melted butter and continue pulsing until the mixture is fully combined and resembles wet sand.

    Step3

Pour the cookie‑crumb mixture into a freezer-safe 9‑inch pie plate and press it firmly into the bottom and up the sides. Use the flat bottom of a drinking glass to pack it tightly and create an even crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes to set.

    Step4

Once the cookie crust is fully set, fill it with softened ice cream. Soft ice cream is much easier to spread and smooth into an even layer. Place the mud pie in the freezer for several hours, preferably overnight, until firm.

    Step5

Drizzle the top with hot fudge sauce, then sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds. Finish with a generous swirl of whipped cream.

    Step6

    Enjoy!

I can not find coffee ice cream . Do you have any suggestions to make it maybe like mix vanilla with some coffee or would that work..

Hi there! 1–2 teaspoons of espresso powder with vanilla would work great, or you can substitute a good chocolate ice cream. Hope this helps.
