Delicious Deli-Style Seafood with creamy, delicious dressing.
Ingredients
Directions
This Deli‑Style Seafood Salad is everything you love about the classic grocery‑store deli counter version, but fresher, creamier, and so much better made at home. Tender imitation crab and tiny shrimp are folded into a cool, tangy dressing with just the right touch of sweetness, herbs, and spice. Chill it overnight for the best flavor and enjoy a deli favorite that tastes even better from your own kitchen.

Make the dressing. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, paprika, seasoning salt, sugar, red onion (or shallot), dill, parsley, and cracked pepper until smooth and well combined.
If using cooked salad shrimp, rinse them under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. If your shrimp are uncooked, bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes, just until they turn pink and opaque. Drain immediately, rinse with cold water to stop the cooking, pat dry, and proceed with the recipe.
Chop the imitation crab into your desired size — either bite‑size chunks or shredded pieces — and place it in a large mixing bowl. Add the prepared shrimp and gently toss to combine.
Add the dressing to the seafood and gently stir until everything is evenly coated. Cover and chill for at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors fully develop before serving.
Enjoy!
