Ingredients

    Directions

These Italian Slider Sandwiches pack all the bold, zesty flavors of a classic Italian sub into soft, pillowy Hawaiian rolls that are easy to pick up and even easier to devour. Layered with deli meats, cheese, fresh veggies, and tangy peppers, they look irresistible on the table and taste even better in every bite.

    Step1

Slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally to create a top and bottom bun.

    Step2

In a small bowl, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.

    Step3

Slice the pickled banana or pepperoncini peppers into rings.

    Step4

For this recipe, we used our Quick Pickled Onions, but you can also use regular thinly sliced onions. Or for an even quicker quick‑pickled onion, soak the onion slices in red or white wine vinegar for about 10 minutes — it softens the bite and adds a bright, tangy flavor before they go on the sandwich.

    Step5

Cut the cheese slices into small squares and slice the tomatoes into rounds.

    Step6

Add the ham, salami, cheese, and a slice of tomato to the bottom bun.

    Step7

Next, add pickled or regular onions and pickled pepper rings.

    Step8

Place the top buns on the sandwiches and lightly brush them with the Italian‑seasoned butter.

    Step9

    Enjoy!
