Delicious Baked Greek Meatballs that mix in minutes and deliver a beautifully seasoned main course.
Ingredients
For Meatballs
For Tzatziki Sauce/Dressing (optional)
Directions
These baked Greek‑style meatballs offer a balance of ease and refinement, bringing together fresh herbs, warm seasoning, and a tender oven finish that feels effortless on a busy weeknight yet special enough to serve guests. With simple prep and reliable results, they deliver a beautifully composed dish that fits both casual dinners and relaxed entertaining.
Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with 1/3 cup breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion, 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill, 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Mix gently just until everything comes together, taking care not to overwork the mixture so the meatballs stay tender.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide the meatball mixture into 12 equal portions, roll each into a uniform meatball, and arrange them on the prepared sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

While the meatballs bake, prepare the tzatziki dressing: in a blender, combine 1 cup full‑fat Greek yogurt or sour cream, 1/2 cup grated or finely diced cucumber with the excess liquid squeezed out with a paper towel, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 small garlic clove, and 1–2 dill sprigs with the stems, plus salt and pepper to taste; blend until smooth and creamy.
Enjoy!
