A glossy, two‑ingredient balsamic glaze that’s perfect for caprese everything, chicken, roasted vegetables, grilled fruit, fresh mozzarella, and even for serving alongside bruschetta.

Ingredients

    Directions

This simple balsamic glaze comes together with just two ingredients and a few minutes on the stove, reducing into a glossy, sweet‑savory drizzle that’s delicious over caprese salads and caprese bites, perfect on grilled or roasted chicken, and equally good spooned over tomatoes, roasted vegetables, grilled peaches, or a fresh mozzarella platter — or served on the side of bruschetta.

    Step1

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ½ cup balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons brown sugar and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Continue simmering until it reduces by about half and lightly coats the back of a spoon. Remove it from the heat and let it cool; the glaze will thicken significantly as it cools.

    Step2

    Enjoy!
