Quick, fun, and easy cheeseburger wraps made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, a tangy sauce, and classic toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and optional pickled jalapeños—all wrapped in a warm tortilla.
Ingredients
Directions
These cheeseburger wraps come together fast and are loaded with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, chopped pickles, and optional pickled jalapeños, all wrapped in a warm tortilla with a simple tangy sauce. They’re easy to customize and kid‑friendly.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 pound of ground beef and ½ diced yellow onion, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Continue cooking until the beef is no longer pink, then drain the fat.
Make the sauce. In a small mixing bowl, combine ¾ cup ketchup, 1½ teaspoons yellow mustard, and ½ tablespoon brown sugar, stirring until fully blended.
While the meat and onions cook, prepare the other fillings. Shred the sharp cheddar cheese, chop the dill pickles, shred the lettuce, and get any extras like pickled jalapeños or pepperoncini ready.
Season the meat and onions with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
Add the sauce to the cooked meat and onion mixture, stirring until everything is evenly coated. Set aside and keep warm.
Add a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese to a burrito‑size tortilla. Warm it in the microwave, if desired, just until the cheese begins to melt.
Add the cooked meat mixture, shredded lettuce, chopped pickles, pickled jalapeños, and sliced tomatoes, then roll up the wrap tightly.
Enjoy!
